World Children's Day: Craft idea "Autumn tree"

In keeping with World Children's Day and the bright colors of autumn, children can playfully create a colorful autumn tree with this craft idea - a creative way to discover the magic of the season.🍂
Materials:
1. A large sheet of paper
2. Craft paints in autumn colors (yellow, red, orange, brown)
3. Corks (wine or champagne corks)
4. Popsicle sticks
5. Brush (optional to paint the tree trunk)
6. A paper plate or something where the colors can be placed
Directions:
1. Paint a tree trunk or glue on popsicle sticks
First, use a brush to paint the trunk of the tree in the middle of your paper. Use brown paint for this. Let the trunk reach to the bottom of the paper and make it narrower towards the top. Alternatively, you can glue popsicle sticks on as the tree trunk.
2. Prepare colors
Put small blobs of each color (yellow, red, orange and brown) on a palette or paper plate. Make sure they don't run into each other.
3. Stamping corks
Take a cork and dip it in one of the colors. Then dab the cork on the paper to create the leaves of the tree. You can alternate and mix the colors to make the tree beautifully colorful. The colors should spread to the upper part of the picture and form a dense treetop.
4. Build layers
Repeat the process with different colors until the tree looks full and colorful. The cork prints can overlap to create the impression of a dense canopy of leaves.
5. Let dry
Allow the picture to dry completely before hanging it or decorating it further.
Optional:
You can add small details like falling leaves or an autumnal ground at the end to complete the picture.
Have fun crafting!
