Ingredients for 2 servings:

200 ml Barista Oat Drink

100 ml sparkling water

1 teaspoon Baking powder

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp apple sauce

250 g flour

50 g sugar

pinch of salt

Oil for frying

6 sour apples

Cinnamon and sugar for the finished apple fritters
Preparation:

Mix the creamy Barista oat drink with flour, baking powder, applesauce, sugar, cinnamon and a pinch of salt in a bowl until you get a homogeneous mass without lumps.

Carefully stir the sparkling water into the dough to make it extra airy.

Peel the apples and remove the core. Then cut them into 1 cm thick slices.

Dip the apple slices into the batter and fry them in hot oil until golden brown.
