Pancakes are one of the most popular dishes among children. They are delicious and can be incorporated into a quick meal in a stressful day. Pancakes can be made both sweet and savory. There are no limits to your imagination. This recipe does not contain cow's milk and is therefore also suitable for people with lactose intolerance.
Preparation time: 10 min. + 15 min. brewing time
Ingredients for about 8 pancakes:
- 550 ml organic oat drink
- (22 slightly heaped teaspoons of Pelster's organic oat drink powder to 550 ml water)
- 1 shot of carbonated mineral water
- 2 eggs (M)
- 1 pinch of salt
- 300 g spelt flour (type 630)
- some rapeseed oil
Ingredients for decoration as desired:
- Pelster 's organic nut cream with dates & cocoa
- Pelster 's organic nut cream cinnamon roll with dates & cinnamon
- various fruits
- Peppermint leaves
- Icing sugar
Preparation:
- 1. Mix the organic oat drink according to the instructions on the package, e.g. with the Pelster's Shaker.
- 2. Add a dash of mineral water, the eggs and a pinch of salt and mix everything together.
- 3. Finally, stir the flour with a whisk or hand mixer until there are no more lumps. Let the mixture stand for 15 minutes, then stir well again.
- 4. The pancakes are fried in a hot pan with a little rapeseed oil.
- 5. For sweet pancakes, spread the whole thing with some Pelster's organic nut cream with dates and cocoa or with Pelster's organic nut cream cinnamon roll with dates and cinnamon and fold it together like a crepe.
- 6. Garnish the pancakes with fruit, peppermint leaves and some powdered sugar
