Preparation time: 3-4 hours
Ingredients:
- 600 g flour
- 100 g sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 230 g water
- 140 g soft butter in pieces
- 2.5 tsp (approx. 10 g) baking yeast
- 100 g Pelster's Cappuccino Type Vanilla (alternatively another type of Pelster's Cappuccino )
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg for brushing
- a large baking pan
Preparation:
- Put all ingredients, except the butter, in a bowl and mix with a dough hook for about 10-15 minutes until a smooth dough is formed.
- Then gradually add the soft butter and continue stirring.
- Then leave the dough in a warm place for about 1 hour until it has doubled in size.
- Stir the dough again for about 3 minutes, then put it in a baking pan and let it rise for another 1 to 2 hours.
- Then preheat the oven to 180° and brush the brioche with a beaten egg.
- The brioche then needs to bake for about 25-30 minutes.
- Then let the brioche cool down completely. Enjoy with jam or other spreads .
